A Warehouse Operative is needed paying circa £25k Monday to Friday ,8am-4:30pm , slightly early finish on a Friday weekly pay, No shifts, Days 28 days holiday, free parking, Overtime paid at a premium.

Manufacturing business in York requires an Warehouse/ FLT Driver, this role has become available due to expansion and continued growth.

The ideal Warehouse Operative will come from a manufacturing, Engineering, or Distribution background.

We would welcome people to apply that have worked as a Stock Controller, Material handler, Storeman or Stores Operative.

The duties of the Warehouse Operative would be as follows:

• Kitting parts and keeping the kits in order


• Picking and Packing of goods ready for despatch


• Updating stock


• Booking goods in


• Organising all incoming and outgoing deliveries


• Working on the company computer system

Key Attributes of the Warehouse Operative position :

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing or stock control environment.


• Knowledge of picking and allocation of parts.


• FLT Licence (counterbalance) desirable


• Computer literate with various computer systems such as excel, MRP / ERP / Navision / SAP, Sage etc.


• Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team and independently.
