Senior Sales Executive

A steel fabrication company in Derbyshire is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Important Details:



  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year (DOE) + car

  • Location: Derbyshire, with travel and occasional overnight stays

  • Reporting to: Sales Director


Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify new customers and markets aligned with 5-year company goals, particularly in renewable energy, MOD, and nuclear sectors.

  • Drive new business by targeting specific market segments and generating high-quality inquiries.

  • existing client relationships and provide insights to Directors on market visibility and company performance.

  • Review client specifications, attend pre-tender meetings, and participate in site visits.

  • Assist in creating handover documentation for the Commercial and Project Teams.

  • Manage Best and Final Offer (BAFO) processes to maximize profitability.


Required Skills:



  • Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, engineers, and suppliers.

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to attend networking events, with a full driving license and availability for travel.
