Registered Mental Health Nurse

Location: Neurological Centre, Daventry
Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse (Temporary)

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team in Daventry, working in a specialized Neurological Centre.

This role offers flexible temporary shifts, including both day and night work, with a competitive hourly rate.

Details:

  • Pay Rate: £28 - £34 per hour (dependent on experience and shift type)
  • Shifts: Flexible day and night shifts available
  • Type: Temporary contract

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience in a neurological or similar specialist care setting is desirable
  • Training:

    • Trak Training (desirable)
    • PEG Feed experience
    • NEWS2 (National Early Warning Score 2)
    • PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a neurological setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient recovery and well-being
  • Administer medications, manage PEG feeds, and monitor vital signs using NEWS2
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment through PMVA techniques
