Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and improving the performance of cutting-edge machinery and equipment.

You'll ensure production lines run smoothly and efficiently, responding to breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance during downtime.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance as per schedules.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

  • Record all maintenance activities in the defect database.

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize line performance.

  • Promote a safety-first culture and adhere to GMP standards.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions.


What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:



  • Multi-skilled engineer with experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.

  • Proven track record in reacting to breakdowns and conducting preventative maintenance.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of engineering safety practices and standards.

  • 18th Edition


Desirable:



  • Experience in FMCG or high-speed packaging environments.

  • Familiarity with PLCs and electrical/mechanical diagrams.

  • Understanding of 5S, kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Formal qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
