We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Leaving Care Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to safeguard children and young people when going through leaving care proceedings.

This includes young people going through the youth justice system as well as UASC cases.

Working effectively with connected teams such as children's safeguarding, looked after children and Fostering teams is key to the success of this team and the cases they are responsible for.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year).

A valid UK driving licence and car is essential for this role.

Extensive experience in leaving care, UASC and youth justice serves well for this position.
