RF Microwave Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity at a leading manufacturer in the defence industry has hit the market; our Herefordshire based client is hiring for a RF Microwave Design Engineer.

The RF Microwave Design Engineer will directly report to the Technical Director.

Main responsibilities of the RF Microwave Design Engineer, based in Herefordshire:

• Create & Design RF microwave amplifiers and sub-systems


• Schematic capture


• Component creation


• Simulation of designs


• Bringing design prototypes to life(concept to production)

Requirements of the RF Microwave Design Engineer, based in Herefordshire:

• Have experience working with amplifiers producing several 100 watts


• Working up to 20GHz frequency range


• Working with RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, power meters, and signal generators


• Has experience working with filters, switches, received, and power supply


• Altium Design package experience is a MUST


• Microwave Office


• C+


• C++
