We are currently recruiting for Nursery Assistants to join our team and work within a well-established nursery setting in Reading on a flexible, agency basis.

This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for working with children, whether you have previous nursery experience or are looking to start a career in early years.

About the Role
As an agency Nursery Assistant, you will have the flexibility to choose shifts that suit you while gaining valuable experience within a supportive nursery environment.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, engaging with children to support their learning and development, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment, and working alongside permanent staff to provide high-quality care.

About You

• Some experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, school, or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.


• A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.


• A willingness to learn and develop your skills in early years education.


• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare policies (training provided if needed).
