At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Health and Safety Officer to join our client's growing team based in Waterford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:

• Develop and implement the sites Health and Safety compliance in-line with the companies objectives.


• Carry out inspection of safety equipment.


• Keep up to date with new legislation & standards.


• Carrying out/updating risk assessments, formulating preventative measures and monitoring conformance.

Experience you need:

• Level 8 degree in EHS or related field.


• Minium 2 years' experience in Health and Safety in Construction industry.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
