Construction Manager

A Construction Manager is required by a fast-growing structural steel contractor to oversee multiple construction projects across five different sites in Newport.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £70,000 per annum + car allowance
Parking: Available on-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations on multiple construction sites.


• Provide leadership and supervision to site teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.


• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.


• Address and resolve any on-site issues and delays promptly.


• Monitor project progress and update senior management regularly.


• Assist in resource planning and allocation across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) certification


• First Aid certification


• Appointed Person's Ticket, Crane Supervisor's Ticket, or Slinger's Ticket (desirable but not essential)
