Teach Plus is working with a well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, rated ‘Good' by Ofsted.

The school is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to providing high-quality education for all pupils.

They are now seeking a talented Upper KS2 Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach in Year 5 or Year 6, preparing pupils for secondary school while working as part of a collaborative and experienced KS2 team.

The school offers excellent professional development and a supportive working environment.

As an Upper KS2 Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons aligned to the KS2 National Curriculum
➢ Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development in preparation for Year 6 SATs and transition to secondary
➢ Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
➢ Work closely with your year group partner to share planning and best practice
➢ Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and extra-curricular activities
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff

The ideal candidate will have:
➢ Sound knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths
➢ Experience teaching in Years 5 or 6, including SATs preparation (preferred)
➢ High expectations for pupil behaviour, engagement, and progress
➢ A reflective, proactive approach to professional growth
➢ UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
