Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative - Hayes - £25,000 to £27,000 + £3,700 Shift Allowance
We are on the hunt for a number of motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a growing West London team picking, packing, and returning parts and products within a large warehouse setting.

Within this role you will be undertaking a shift pattern alternating on a weekly rotation between Morning shifts (6am to 2pm) and Evening Shifts (2pm to 10pm) Monday to Friday.
This is a physically demanding role and will require you to use safe movement practices to manoeuvre heavy and awkwardly shaped objects as well as spending significant time navigating the warehouse which is great for someone looking to be in a physically active role.

Role Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick, pack, collect, deliver, and return parts and materials on time


• Manage material issuance and dispatch per company procedures


• Follow Goods In/Out processes and book spare parts accurately


• Support LEAN improvements and meet department KPI targets


• All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures


• Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader


• Adherence to current practices and Implementation of Total Quality Management as applicable to the department operations i.e.
  
  LEAN project Management


• An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the environmental procedures


• Assist in the training of new staff by acting as a mentor and providing guidance

Requirements and Experience:

• Ideal candidates will have experience with overhead cranes or forklifts


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to pass a DBS Background Check
