
DBT Specialist Practitioner
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed DBT Specialist Practitioner to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Wellington, Somerset area.

As the DBT Specialist Practitioner your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting patients in creating and updating their Behavioural Incentive Pathway
- Carrying out coaching and DBT awareness enhancement on the DBT pathway
- Providing written details of the client's progress within DBT (CPA reports and care notes)
- Attending ICR and CPA meetings and feedback progress for each of your clients.
Also attending reflective practice and use this space actively - Assessing patients who have been referred to the service and provide an assessment report
- Supporting in full adherence to the DBT model and service model
- Enabling and encouraging others to suggest change, challenge tradition and share good practice with other areas of the service and/or organisation
- Providing supervision/mentoring of less experienced therapists and Therapy Care Assistants
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing DBT initiatives in a related environment
- 5 years post registration experience
- Experience in DBT
- Leadership and Management Skills
The successful DBT Specialist Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £51,632 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
