Key Responsibilities - Primary Class Teacher

The successful Primary Class Teacher will:



  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

  • Differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school



Qualifications / Experience

The ideal Primary Teacher will have:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school, junior school, or KS1 / KS2 setting

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • A passion for supporting pupil development academically and personally

  • A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching


Essential Requirements:



  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK
