Key Responsibilities - Reception Teacher

As a Reception Teacher, you will:




  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework




  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment




  • Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress to support development




  • Promote children's social, emotional, and academic growth




  • Set high expectations for behaviour and learning




  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership




  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers




  • Contribute to school initiatives and the wider school community





Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this Reception Teacher role, you will need:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)




  • Experience teaching within Early Years / Reception or primary education




  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills




  • A passion for supporting young learners and early development




  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing




Essential Requirements:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
