Job Title: Trainee Multiskilled Operative (Nights)
Location: Mirfield, WF14
Hours: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 06:00
Pay Rate: £14.56 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Multiskilled Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Mirfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing, with full training provided across a variety of production and warehouse functions.

This is a varied role where you'll provide holiday and absence cover across multiple departments, gaining experience in different areas of the operation and developing a broad range of skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing cover across various production and warehouse positions
• Operating machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality inspections and product checks
• Monitoring production processes and reporting any issues
• Assisting with machine set-up and basic troubleshooting
• Ensuring a continuous supply of materials to production lines
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT as part of daily duties
• Supporting warehouse operations when required
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining high housekeeping and quality standards

What We're Looking For:

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
• A positive and flexible approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Basic engineering or mechanical knowledge would be advantageous
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
