About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and well-regarded early years setting in Kensington, West London, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team ASAP.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work within a nurturing EYFS environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and curiosity.

The successful Level 3 Nursery Practitioner will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing while working closely with experienced early years professionals.

The school is a well-established independent nursery setting serving families within the local Kensington community.

The setting has a strong ethos centred around providing a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child is supported to reach their potential.

The experienced leadership team promotes high standards of care and education, with a strong focus on children's individual needs, positive relationships and learning through play.

The nursery benefits from engaging learning environments and well-resourced facilities designed to support the EYFS curriculum and children's development across all areas of learning.

This Level 3 Nursery Practitioner opportunity would suit an experienced nursery practitioner who is passionate about early years education and enjoys creating positive, engaging learning experiences for young children.

Job Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework and individual learning needs


• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's curiosity, communication and independence


• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues


• Observe, assess and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning and development


• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment that promotes positive behaviour and wellbeing


• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to provide consistently high standards of care, education and safeguarding

Qualifications/Experience

• Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification or above


• Experience as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role


• Strong EYFS knowledge


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
