The Redline Group is working in partnership with our Leicestershire-based client to assist in the search for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer on a 6-month contract.
For this contract, you will be needed on site for the first week, then remote and onsite following the clients requirements.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination, therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
Our client designs and develops innovative, tailored software applications and technology for a range of industries across the UK.
This role will support a display unit project for a high profile international client.
As a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Lead Engineer to produce detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D models for sheet metal assemblies.
You'll be responsible for part identification and selection, creating assemblies, generating parts lists, and liaising with suppliers to source suitable components.
