The Client:
Our client specialises in designing, manufacturing, and supplying furniture and interiors to the education and public sectors, delivering exceptional solutions across the UK and globally.
The Role:
As Sales Manager, you will drive sales by maintaining existing accounts and creating new opportunities in public, health, and education sectors.
Duties:
* Sell library and educational furniture to public sector institutions.
* Engage in proactive sales activities with active and dormant local authority accounts.
* Respond to new sales leads and inquiries.
* Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors.
* Maintain sales pipeline and accurate sales forecasting.
* Conduct site visits and surveys.
* Identify and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise opportunities.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.
* Proven experience of 2 years in face-to-face sales
* 2 years' experience in the educational, commercial, or library furniture and interiors industry (preferable)
* Background of managing or working within a sales territory (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence
