Following further growth at their factory based local to the Coalville area of Leicester, our client is now seeking to appoint a HSE / Health, Safety, Environmental coordinator, to coordinate and manage integrated management systems related to Health, Safety, Environmental processes, and compliance within the factory, embedding and developing ways of working specific to factory and manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the Site Factory Manager, this presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HSE coordinator / advisor or HSE administrator to transfer knowledge and experience from other, or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities of HSE Coordinator include:
Promote a culture where the health and safety and wellbeing of colleagues is the absolute priority.

Manage contractor inductions.
Track progress of SHE Assure actions for the team.
Carry out SSOP reviews.
Manage SHE Assure, progress actions.
Ensure Factory Risk Assessments are up to date and compliant.
Coach and develop the factory team to maximise their strengths, and to close any development gaps.
Work with the factory team to implement the strategic plan for the site.
Audit the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Collate process and report all factory HSE data.
Ensure all relevant data is recorded accurately.
Manage skills matrix and course bookings.
Collaborate with all business stakeholders to ensure the Safety Health & Environment Strategy is delivered and all relevant legislation is always compiled to.
Provide accurate, timely and technical advice to colleagues in resolving issues in H&S and reducing environmental impact.
Deliver Toolbox Talks to the factory team.
Use data to identify and prioritise issues that affect the business, establish their root cause, and provide findings and recommendations for business improvement.
Manage occupational health monitoring in line with the business policies.

Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc.
Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.

Neatly assemble and place all required materials from the fill card to be used in their appropriate location throughout the shift. Read and follow filling procedures to package material into cartridges, chubs, or one, two and five-gallon units. Follow and meet the established production schedules. Properly use the filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area following written standard operating procedures. Assist in the waste segregation and recycling program. Communicate written and verbal information between the Foreman and Production Manager. Use appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety regulations. EXPERIENCE:

@mecscomms is recruiting for a Data Scientist to solving complex business problems with cutting-edge modelling techniques, deploying data products at scale using Azure, Databricks, PySpark & collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.
As a Data Scientist, you'll be working across multiple areas including physical stores, online operations, stock management, finance & of course marketing.

Purpose: The Data Scientists will analyse complex datasets to extract insights, solve business problems & develop predictive models, ultimately supporting decision-making & driving innovation across the organisation.
The role holder will leverage advanced analytics & machine learning to optimise processes, improve products & services & communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, translating complex findings into strategic recommendations.

The Data Scientists will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business success.
You will analyse complex datasets to uncover valuable insights, using advanced analytics & machine learning to solve business problems & optimise processes.
Through developing predictive models & algorithms, you will forecast trends & outcomes, supporting leadership with data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
The role extends to improving products & services, enhancing customer experiences, & driving innovation through cutting-edge solutions.
This role will bridge the gap between technical analysis & practical application, translating complex findings into actionable insights that non-technical stakeholders can understand & implement.

, Identify, build, validate, optimise & manage complex models & data pipelines
, Generate & deliver new opportunities to improve customer experience via Data Science
, Data science lifecycle management of products including deployment into production, testing, CICD, documentation & security considerations
, Be the expert in an area & use it to support & grow the whole team - e.g.
specific models, Azure environment, PySpark code optimisation
, Coaching & mentoring junior colleagues & peers in Data Science practices
, Integration & analysis of diverse data from multiple sources using statistical methods to identify trends, expose new opportunities & answer ongoing business questions
