Our client are recruiting for an Architect/Engineer with Fire Engineering expertise to provide fire strategy compliance input to country-wide projects for which company provide fire engineering services.
Fire Strategy compliance input is required at all stages of project realisation - including feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, permitting and full design services including programming, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.

Key responsibilities:
Developing fire strategies for a wide range of projects, using the relevant code recommendations such as TGD Part B & M, BS9999, BS 5588 as well as pertinent FM and NFPA standards.
Preparation and lodgement of Fire Safety Certificates and Disabled Access Certificate applications via the Building Control Management System (BCMS).
Provide internal FSC and DAC consultancy service for design and contract administration teams on building regulation matters.
Lead fire strategy discussions with design team, client representatives, building control and fire service.
Understand and Implementation of Insurer requirements with regards to reduction in property damage and business interruption risk.
Support BCAR Compliance and preparation of fire inspection reports during construction.
Supervise and train graduates on fire engineering principles and practises.
Perform quality review checks for deliverables.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and vendor bid evaluations.
Assist in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets for projects.
Develop designer effort-hour estimates for Architectural/Permitting discipline.
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

An understanding of local permitting legislation, building regulations, and health and safety legislation
Here's what you'll need
Qualified Architect/Architectural Technologist, 5+ years' experience, with fire safety & disabled access certification background.

I am currently working with an established Agricultural company who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agricultural Engineer to work at their depot in Salisbury.
The Agricultural Engineer role will mainly be servicing and maintaining farm equipment. You will be responsible for making sure machinery and equipment run smoothly and provide excellent customer service thereby maximising customer retention.
The role will be based from the depot but will also require call outs for any breakdowns etc.

For this CNC Miller position we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline (HNC, HND, BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, Apprenticeship etc.)
Stable work history with experience working in a heavy machining / engineering environment
Programming skills (editing OR creating from scratch) - all controls will be considers as full training will be provided
Previous experience of CNC and manual machining
Previous experience of operating horizontal borers, machining centres, CNC Milling machines; working to high standards of dimensional accuracy
Previous experience of using Heidenhain machine controls
Previous experience of working in a close tolerance environment
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
The ability to use internal and external micrometers
In return, the CNC MILLER will receive:
Base Salary: £36080 - £45100 on three shifts, plus overtime.

Following this investment, we are now actively searching for an CNC Machinist on their behalf.
This company is based in Huddersfield within 15 minutes of the M1 and M62 motorways, the CNC Machinist can easily commute from Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Wakefield, Bradford, Halifax and Leeds.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for:
Programming, setting and operating a number of machining centres to produce complex components for internal use
Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings to ensure that all products are machined in line with agreed specifications & tolerances
Optimizing machining processes/strategies and advising on process improvement
Undergoing initial and continual training & development around 5-axis machining and offline programming
The CNC Machinist will be required to work the below hours:
40 Hours per week, spread across a sociable day shift pattern
Monday to Thursday - 07:30 to 16:30
Friday - 07:30 to 14:00
In return, the CNC Machinist will receive:
Annual Salary: Up to £35,360.00 (£17.00 per hour)
Annual Bonus of £2,000.00 (£500 paid quarterly)
Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including statutory holidays
Pension Scheme: 11% Combined (6% employer / 5% employee)
Regular overtime paid at 150%
