Respond to customer inquiries through telephony, face-to-face interactions, email, web chat, and social media while adhering to Digital First principles.
Accurately analyze and interpret customer information to make informed decisions.
Maintain awareness of key legislation, policies, and procedures impacting service delivery.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, Elected Members, and the public.
Provide a positive, efficient, and friendly customer experience, even in challenging situations.
Handle complaints professionally, demonstrating resilience in a demanding environment.
Encourage the use of digital self-service channels and support the Council's digital transformation.
Undertake general financial administration and support service requests.
Work collaboratively within the team, contributing to overall performance targets and training support.
Qualifications and Experience:
4 GCSEs (9-4) or equivalent, or a relevant Level 2 qualification (essential)
Experience working with the public and providing advice, support, and guidance (essential)
Strong knowledge of data protection and customer service standards (essential)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally (essential)
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

Our Referral & Assessment Team are looking for a highly skilled Locum Social Worker.
This role requires a social work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the team:
Our team's clear aim is to identify where the appropriate support can be obtained for children at risk of being put on a child protection plan.
Some of your responsibilities will be completing face to face assessments and doing weekly and fortnight visits, decision making, working closely with other teams, and completing section 17 and section 47, we are a small local authority with a small team meaning we all work closely together and support each other.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this role will be dynamic and flexible with excellent recording skills, and knowledge of children's legislation and thresholds - as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
(Must hold a qualification in social work with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience to be considered for this role)

In this role you will oversee the data governance and support the implementation of its framework.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience working in a data governance framework within financial services
Experience in implementing a data governance framework
Knowledge in data governance frameworks and standards, data quality tools, data cataloguing solutions, and data management system
Charles river experience is desirable
Excellent stakeholder management experience

Core Responsibilities:
Providing data governance advice to all areas of the business, including change projects.
Acting as a central point of contact for data governance.
Assisting in the management of the Data Governance working group and ensure all inputs and outputs are delivered in a timely manner.
Delivery of key BAU data governance and data management deliverables and outcomes.
Daily quality checks and follow up of any exceptions identified to resolution.
Set up of securities in Charles River.
Maintenance of authorised instrument / asset data with the appropriate controls to ensure this is complete and accurate.
Provide subject matter expertise on security master models, highlighting risks and options and proposing controls.
Providing cover for the wider Operations Data Management team.
Establish and maintain good working relationships within the team, with other departments and with external outsource providers.
