The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring project milestones and customer design requirements are fulfilled, and will also assist with ISO 9001 requirements, ESD and FOD precautions, new starter inductions and training.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:
- Being the voice of Quality Assurance within project/design gateway reviews.
- Customer-facing liaison on day-to-day quality issues and requirements, including customer witnessed testing.
- Supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of the QMS to ensure that ISO 9001 requirements are satisfied.
- Conducting internal audits with process/function owners to monitor operation and effectiveness of the QMS and to facilitate continual improvement.
- Ensuring that appropriate corrective actions, resulting from recorded non-conformances, are implemented and effective.
- Working closely with the Supply Chain team for regional on-site supplier assessment & approval.
Liaison with suppliers to facilitate the on-time supply of conforming materials and services.
- Reviewing customer bids and contracts for quality requirements, and preparation and maintenance of project Quality Plans.
- Fault analysis and reports on customer returns.
Skills & Experience required by the Quality Engineer:
- Recent experience in a Quality role in a relevant engineering/manufacturing environment.
- HND or higher qualification in manufacturing/engineering discipline.
- Experience with project-related Quality Assurance.

Wirral Council are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join their Adoption Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in adoption to work in a supportive and collaborative team.
You will be responsible for providing specialist support throughout the adoption process, ensuring that children and families receive the care and guidance they need.
Responsibilities:
Adoption Assessments: Conducting thorough assessments of prospective adopters to ensure suitability and readiness for adoption.
Matching and Placement: Supporting the matching process, working with children, families, and prospective adopters to find the best placement for the child.
Adoption Support: Providing ongoing post-adoption support to adoptive families and children, ensuring any challenges are addressed promptly.
Family Engagement: Working closely with children and families to ensure the best outcomes throughout the adoption journey.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Liaising with a range of professionals, including health, education, and legal services, to ensure coordinated and effective support.
Case Management: Managing a caseload of adoption cases, ensuring all statutory responsibilities are met, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
Is a qualified social worker with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience, with specific expertise in adoption work.
Is registered with Social Work England.
Has a deep understanding of adoption processes, including matching, placement, and post-adoption support.
Enhanced DBS.

Isle of Wight Council are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Social Worker to join our team.
In this role, you will be working within our Child Protection team, helping to safeguard vulnerable children and young people on the island.

We offer support for agency workers with up to £250 weekly accommodation reimbursement and reimbursement for one weekly return car ferry.
You must have use of your own car while working on the island during the five working days of the week.
Responsibilities:As a Child Protection Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Have access to their own vehicle and are available to work on the Isle of Wight for five days per week.

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension based on staffing needs and the Fellow's satisfactory progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in the General Critical Care Unit.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex and acute patient cases.
Tailor the role to meet your individual interests and training needs, including the opportunity to spend time in the operating theatre to maintain and enhance anaesthetic skills.
Engage in clinical supervision and provide leadership to junior staff, fostering a positive and safe learning environment.

Full MRCP or equivalent qualification.

Proven ability to educate, supervise, and mentor medical and non-medical practitioners.
Strong understanding of the importance of clinical supervision and leadership in a critical care environment.
Evidence of published work and/or research experience.
Familiarity with the current NHS environment, including reforms and key initiatives in healthcare.
