The Role of the Service Technician
You will have both Electrical and Mechanical repair and service background
Diagnose system problems during servicing of heating, chillers, and heat pump equipment on assigned projects.
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), attend to customer breakdowns, and carry out warranty work and commissioning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as a trusted point of contact.
Work closely with the Service Desk, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Maximize productivity and enhance the customer experience by improving operational and technical processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY ATTRIBUTES OF THE CANDIDATE
At least 5 years' experience in the professional live events industry with a specialism in scenic construction.
Self-motivation, with the ability to lead by example and work as part of a team
Ability to read & interpret construction drawings & CAD plans
Good working knowledge of workshop tools and machinery
Excellent carpentry skills with good working knowledge of various materials.
Experience with CNC machines an advantage but not essential
Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to plan and prioritise multiple jobs, on a daily basis.
Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines.

Forklift Driver (Counterbalance / Reach Truck)
Paddock Wood, Kent

5 shifts per week
KHR is working with a reputable fulfillment centre based in Paddock Wood who are looking to hire a Forklift Driver on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Forklift Driver will work for approximately 12 full weeks before moving into a permanent role.
In addition, you will get the opportunity to do a conversation course enabling you to operate a Pivot Steer/Bendi/Flexi FLT Truck.
Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver will include:
- Operating Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer FLT (once trained)
- Heavy Lifting when required
- Handling inbound goods, outbound orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock-level records
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a valid external Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence
- Prior experience working in a busy warehouse
- Have an adequate understanding of the English language for H&S
- Own and wear a pair of safety boots and a Hi-vis jacket
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday: 12pm - 10pm
Saturday: 8am - 6pm
Sunday: 10am - 8pm
Operatives can be scheduled in 5 days across any of these shifts.
Saturday & Sunday is treated as a normal day.
