In this role, you'll tackle complex electrical troubleshooting, maintain equipment efficiency, and uphold safety protocols.
Your expertise will directly impact production and improve performance across our corrugating and conversion plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Rapidly respond to machine failures and breakdowns to minimize downtime and keep machinery in top condition.
Proactive Maintenance: Develop, improve, and undertake planned maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance.
Installation & Projects: Support installations, upgrades, and various engineering projects on-site.
Collaborative Communication: Keep clear, open communication lines with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Key Skills and Experience:
Electrical Expertise: Proficiency in fault-finding on three-phase control circuits and below.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and address issues beyond simple resets; strong logical approach to repairs.
Attention to Detail: Essential in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and performance.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using test equipment (multi-meter, scope, insulation resistance) and safely replacing components.
Knowledge in PLCs & SCADA: Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic (Siemens, Omron, Fatek, Mitsubishi) and familiarity with SCADA (Escada Syncro preferred).
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance engineering.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering fields.
