The EHS manager is accountable for the development and implementation of programs in the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security areas of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Comprehensive EHS Programs: Oversee all safety and environmental initiatives within the plant, aligning them with government regulations and company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance EHS performance. Compliance Assurance: Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate EHS practices.
Act as a liaison between the plant and regulatory agencies to maintain a transparent and cooperative relationship. Project Management: Identify, design, and execute EHS-related projects to address safety and environmental challenges.
Take charge of corrective actions for any EHS concerns that arise. Training and Education: Conduct EHS training sessions to raise awareness among employees about safety protocols, environmental responsibilities, and regulatory compliance. Emergency Preparedness: Lead the development and maintenance of the Emergency Preparedness Program, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices. Inspections and Audits: Coordinate and lead both internal and external inspections and audits.
Address findings promptly and develop strategies to continuously improve EHS performance. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams by leveraging your expertise gained from formal and informal training.
Empower employees with EHS insights and best practices. EHS Reporting: Compile data for submission related to environmental permits (air, water & hazardous waste), safety statistics and corporate EHS submissions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related professional field of study. 7 plus years' experience working in EHS or related field, including experience leading the development and implementation of environmental and safety programs in a manufacturing or chemical operation Strong knowledge and understanding of State and Federal EHS Regulations. Proficient in environmental air permits including QDRs, PERs and PTOs. Strong understanding of hazardous waste management for LQG & SQG. Experience with PSM with PHAs. Experience with ISO 14001&45001. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
SAP experience a plus. Strong communication skills both in oral and written. Ability to proactively identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety. Multi-site experience a plus. CSP (certified safety professional) and/or other related EHS certifications a plus. Management of banking relationships, current and future including responsibility for new account opening documentation and maintenance of signatory rights.
To identify and recommend the use of hedging instruments to minimize the Group exposure to FX fluctuations.
Ensuring all existing controls are carried out for all areas of responsibility and that new controls are implemented where appropriate.
Overseeing and control of local Payroll and Finance Admin functions.
Supporting the Finance Director on an on-going basis to ensure all strategic and operational matters are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Use of Excel daily for reporting, an intermediate to advanced level will be required.
Any other duties befitting a Treasury Manager.

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
Previous Treasury experience including knowledge of FX hedging and Treasury Management Reporting.
Strong understanding of financial principles.

Position Summary:
Carboline is looking for a paid Quality Intern located at their Headquarters in St.
Louis, MO. This role will give students hands-on experience, working within a Global Quality department where they will be able to assist in providing data analysis, assembly process knowledge, and problem-solving while working with cross-functional teams to support and improve quality within the company.
Minimum Requirements:
This paid intern will work roughly 30 - 40 hours per week from May-August.
Must be perusing a four-year degree in any field.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.

Essential Functions:
Interns will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our company.
The Global Processes and Quality Manager will ensure that the intern adheres to industry best practices and our companies' policies.

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
The Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance and engineering functions of the three DayGlo facilities.
This role ensures that equipment and systems are maintained and optimized to achieve maximum efficiency, reliability, and safety.
The manager will develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall reliability of the plant's assets while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
This position will also oversee the capex budget and all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Engineering Projects: Lead the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they align with business objectives. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are integrated smoothly with ongoing operations. Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Maintenance Management: Lead and oversee the maintenance team to ensure equipment and systems are properly maintained and repaired. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability. Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Reliability Engineering: Develop and implement reliability strategies, including root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, potential failures, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with operations, production, and maintenance teams to develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives. Ensure the implementation of best practices in reliability engineering across the facility.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the maintenance and engineering teams. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and manage the development of direct reports.
Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance and engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Monitor and control maintenance and project expenses to ensure alignment with financial targets. Identify opportunities for cost savings through process optimization, energy efficiency, and resource management.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with OSHA, environmental, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS), reliability engineering principles, and project management methodologies. Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). Autocad proficiency Completed formal training in and/or have at least 1 year experience applying continuous improvement tools such as TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, etc. Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.
PSM experience preferred.

Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of the various forms of contract used in the construction industry (RIAI, PWC, JCT etc.)
