This role is ideal for an experienced buyer looking to take ownership and drive key initiatives within our supply chain operations.
You will play a critical role in managing and developing supplier relationships, optimising inventory management, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely supply, and implementing cost reduction strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficient and effective procurement of product / components and services.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring high standards of quality and service.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, minimising excess and obsolescence.
Supplier Negotiations: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and delivery schedules, focusing on cost reduction and value optimisation.
Supply Timelines: Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain while maintaining quality and service standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain function to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
Requirements:
CIPS qualification is desired.
Extensive experience in buying/procurement within the automotive, motor factor, or engineering manufacturing sectors.
Proven track record in supply chain management and supplier relationship development.
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost reduction and value maximisation.
Excellent inventory management skills with the ability to optimise stock levels effectively.
Demonstrated ability to manage supply timelines and ensure timely delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience working in a leadership (team leader, supervisor, management etc) position, ideally within a Mechanical Fitting/Assembling focused environment
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people and “lead from the front”
In return, the Lead Mechanical Fitter will receive:
Annual Salary: £37,000.00
Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including bank holidays
Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (4% matched)
Working Hours: 36.5 per week with flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays offered (6AM earliest start)
Opportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150%

The Role:We're seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong focus on electrical work (60/40 split), who is keen to develop into a role supporting and leading a small team within our high-volume manufacturing operations in Hinckley.
Your primary responsibilities will include preventative maintenance, fault finding, and equipment repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative maintenance and address breakdowns, focusing on electrical systems.
Work with PLC systems, including fault finding and control panel testing.
Perform mechanical tasks such as stripping down motors, conveyors, and gearboxes.
Ensure safety compliance, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Work hands-on with hydraulic systems and be prepared to get your hands dirty in a factory environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Time-served engineer with NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Electrical Expertise: Some experience in PLC systems and fault finding.
Mechanical Skills: Comfortable with hands-on tasks involving motors, gearboxes, and hydraulics.
Work Environment: Ability to work in a challenging, industrial setting.
Shift Pattern:
Alternating morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, and 2pm to 10pm (DOUBLE DAYS)
