JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The QC Manager will lead quality control efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The QC Manager will visit ongoing projects to ensure that application methods are being followed.
The QC Manager will also evaluate the onsite safety setup utilized to ensure that both OSHA and WTI safety compliance are met.
The QC Manager is responsible for fact-finding/troubleshooting of field issues, and will coordinate with the product team as necessary.
The QC Manager is responsible for ensuring proactive response and field intelligence required to manage customer satisfaction by ensuring proper communication of job site conditions, trends in product, project, applicator, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Job Site Inspections as they relate to quality assurance and safety.
Perform detailed roof inspections to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and/or concerns. Work with local WTI Field Representatives and/or Supervisors as required or necessary. Provide accurate and timely documentation to ensure that all work is completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, sales reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters. Demonstrate working knowledge of all services and materials. Direct WTI field resources in fact-finding/troubleshooting field issues, including documentation of conditions, preparing scope of work, receiving and reviewing labor quotes if applicable, etc.
to remediate based on the issue found.
If leak calls have required multiple visits by WTI, go to the job site to review conditions and determine the possible cause.
In cases where multiple visits have been required for leaks, going out directly to review what issues are. Ability to review potential warranty issues by visiting the job site to see what issues are, communicate with the sales force and warrant group as necessary on the best course of action.
Direct the sales rep to contact the product group help desk email after the initial investigation if necessary for further warranty review. Stay abreast of best practices and ensure continual education for the team and reps. Identify areas for improvement in internal processes or system deficiencies and implement effective or possible solutions to meet changing needs and requirements. Position Summary:
Applies all Carboline coatings to panels for use by customers, sales and R&D for testing purposes as well as for sales aids.
Participates in spray evaluations.
Essential Functions:
• Preparation of panels prior to coating.
Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand and power tools, abrasive blast cabinet and pin welder.
To include minor maintenance of same. • Have a good understanding of how to operate as well as maintain mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment to apply Carboline products. • Know how to use inspection equipment, surface preparation standards, etc. • Provide documentation for panels which will be tested.
Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. • Responsible for maintaining a stock of standard panel systems. • Package and ship sample panels. • Understand basic coating technologies so that Carboline coatings can be properly applied and cured for sample panels, evaluations, field work, etc.
Be able to troubleshoot and correct coating and application problems. • Assist the R&D Department in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations, etc.

Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, and any employee relation issues.
Essential Functions:
Enforce safety regulations, investigate accidents, complete accident reports as required and eliminate potential and actual safety hazards. Maintain a complete understanding of emergency response plans in the event of spills or other similar disasters. Report all safety injuries and incidents to your supervisor and EH&S department immediately. Ensure production quality expectations are met.
Responsible for understanding all aspects of production schedule.

Advise management of equipment and staffing requirements. Maintain housekeeping standards. Interface with other supervisors on all operations, staffing, and miscellaneous issues. Run daily cycle counts. Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up. Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed.
Review and approve timecard hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning.
Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs. Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees. Input inventory transactions and monitor LN for accuracy. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, or 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds.
Exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.

Your new role
Southend City Council's Fostering Recruitment Team are looking to appoint a permanent, full-time, Social Worker to recruit, train, assess, supervise and support Foster Carers in their role of looking after children and young people.
Cases are capped at 6 Form F.
Ensuing the highest professional standards and a good overall knowledge of relevant children's and fostering legislation, regulations and practice methods.
Providing a supportive and efficient service to children, young people, their families and fostering families, ensuring that the needs of children and their parents and carers are professionally assessed.
You will be investigating, evaluating and analysing information on cases, demonstrating clarity of assessment, reliability of information, evidence in conclusions and realistic action plans.
As well as this, you will be required to develop practice which takes a holistic view of the individual, locating them in their immediate and extended social circles and having full regard to their overall development needs.
The position is hybrid working, and you will be expected to be on site a minimum of 2 days a week.
There will be a face-to-face team meeting every other week on a Tuesday.
