The Role of the Design Engineer
Following an established, successful training programme, the Design Engineer will have full technical responsibility for their own projects.
As the Design Engineer you will produce Temporary Works designs (both above, and below ground) and drawings on a day-to-day basis to satisfy customer demand.
You’ll be checking your own designs and drawings in line with the companies quality procedures
As the Design Engineer you’ll be required to produce “one-off” project work as directed by the Engineering Management Team.
Provide technical support to the Sales Team / Customer (project related/non-project related).
The key to success as the Design Engineer will be the self-management of allocated workload to meet customer / business demands.
You’ll be expected to manage your own designs and attend site meetings/inspections nationwide in support of your design work- initially supported by Senior Engineers.

I am recruiting for a case manager to join my clients Lancashire team in Blackpool, working 37.5 hours a week, my client currently have funding for this role until the end of March 2026.

You will need: -
An understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and risk management including experience of working with victims and/or perpetrators of domestic abuse, those with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and develop multi-agency responses to support and/or disrupt perpetrators in order to reduce the harm they pose to victims.
The ability to appropriately challenge service users and other agencies in order to achieve positive outcomes and reduce the risks posed to victims

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of an East London local authority who are seeking a Housing Litigation Paralegal to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Housing Litigation ParalegalLOCATION: East LondonRATE: £20 to £30 per hour LTDCONTRACT: Initial 3 month with scope for extension
1 day office attendance per week required.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage a caseload of pre-action disrepair cases under the Housing Conditions Protocol.
To handle potential to handle gas warrant applications in the Magistrates' Court.
Providing legal advice to the Asset Management Team.
To support the Civil Litigation team under the supervision of the Principal Lawyer.
Requirements:
LLB Degree or equivalent, or CILEX Trainee Lawyer (funded by HRA).
Minimum 2 years of experience in legal services, ideally with housing disrepair cases.
Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
