You will be working as part of a community nursing team covering hours between 08:00 - 20:00, 7 days per week.
Long or short days are available.

Cross-check all relevant patient information, tests required, and any special requirements for those tests.
Ensure correct identification of patients and accurate labelling of their samples; instruct patients on corrective methods for seeking assistance if discrepancies occur.
Demonstrate competence with the computer system and handle patient data, ensuring information is accurate and secure.
Summon assistance in the event of an adverse reaction or fainting episode during phlebotomy sessions.
Complete relevant documentation of the intervention on EMIS.
Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate, recording findings accurately.
Administer IM injections and flu vaccinations, if appropriately trained.
Ensure specimens are recorded and prepared for onward transportation.
Monitor stock control and ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session.
