You will play a key role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vacant (void) properties, ensuring they meet safety standards and are ready for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive electrical inspections in void properties across Peterborough.
Carrying out electrical testing and certification, including EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports).
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in accordance with regulations.
Installing and testing new electrical systems, including full rewires and upgrades.
Ensuring all work complies with IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
Preparing properties for occupancy through necessary electrical checks and maintenance.
Liaising with property managers and other trades to expedite property handovers.
Requirements:
Qualified Electrician with relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
2391 Inspection and Testing certification (essential).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (desirable).
Proven experience in electrical inspections and testing (EICR).
Previous experience in void property work or social housing is advantageous.
Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel within Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and representation on property law, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, and property management.

Collaborate with various departments and external partners to support the Council's property portfolio.
Identify and mitigate legal risks related to property transactions.
Develop and implement property law policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with significant experience in property law.
Proven experience in property law within local government or the public sector.
Strong knowledge of commercial and residential property transactions, land acquisition and disposal, leases, licenses, and property litigation.
