Main duties for this role will include the inspection and verification of product quality, ensuring it meets the required customer specifications and reducing quality issues.
Key responsibilities for the Quality Test & Inspection Engineer include:
Inspecting production and confirming specifications by conducting visual and certain test requirements.
Participate in projects to help reduce quality issues and problems internally/externally.
Assist in continual improvement projects, and work on further developments in this area.
Testing defective products and report writing, using test equipment such as multimeters.
Work with manufacturing to find solutions to difficulties in manufacturing new products and implement appropriate measurement/quality control steps.
Assist in investigating and resolving complaints and issues of the company products.
Support in developing and maintaining our internal test procedures.
Fault finding to component level of complex embedded electronic products

The Kettle Operator is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Act as the subject matter expert for Tremco North American manufacturing facilities to continuously improve production efficiency and operational excellence (MS168).

Analyzes current production processes and procedures, conducts environmental scans, defines current state gaps, and develops plans/countermeasures to deploy continuous improvement strategies.
Plans and develops guidelines, targets, standards, and metrics for monitoring and measuring results to ensure desired results and drive accountability throughout the organization.
Monitors activity of continuous improvement teams and team champions; alerts management of additional support needed to achieve desired results.
Oversees the development of new testing tools and measurement methods and systems to ensure products meet quality standards.
Develops MS168 leaders and systems to positively impact operational efficiencies including but not limited to creating and administering monitoring systems and reviews, aligning assessments to human systems capabilities, etc.
Coaches and develops champions at manufacturing locations to foster a continuous improvement mindset.
Facilitates and leads the continuous improvement process by identifying training needs and providing education and mentoring in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
Provides training, tools, and logistical assistance for continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluates the performance or ability of employees to understand and apply lean principles.
Collaborates with Environmental, Health and Safety resources to ensure continuity and support for related objectives.
Maintains current knowledge of lean performance principles and practices and keeps the organization informed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university in manufacturing, operations, engineering or another related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
5 years related experience in manufacturing, process management, continuous improvement, analytics, project management, etc.
Experience with Value Stream Mapping, facilitating Kaizen events, implementing lean tools and processes such as: continuous flow, set up reduction, pull systems, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S practices.
Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts and TQM process evaluation techniques with demonstrated success in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with related technology systems i.e.

The QA Technical Service Rep is responsible for the timely delivery of services as they relate to the quality assurance of Tremco's installed roofing systems within their respective region.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Lead Technician performing roof patch and repair as necessary and determined by the Quality Assurance Group on Tremco Incorporated roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, Single Ply, Fluid Applied, etc.). Estimate material and labor quantities for roof patch and repair. Work with local WTI Field Representatives and/or Supervisors as required or necessary.
