Typically, this person will be part of a professional and committed team working in and supporting the maritime industry.
As the Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, implementing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting 2 and 4 stroke marine, traction, and power generation engines plus providing technical support when needed across the UK.

Duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
Assist and/or be responsible for work tasks in accordance with assigned responsibilities
Be able to carry out maintenance and repair of 2 and 4 stroke engines / associated systems
Support and implement the field maintenance procedures according to the standards set out by the company
Carry out performance tests, troubleshoot and root cause analysis
Work with engine automation and mechanical systems providing support to Customers within guidelines set out by the company
Implement tasks as part of the maintenance of engines
On-site customer operational support in all stages if a project
Support the implementation of HSE standards in maintenance activities
Identifying the spare parts requirements for maintenance
Report writing
Qualifications and requirement for the Field Service Engineer:
Full Driving Licence
Passport
Maritime OR Traction OR Power Generation 2 / 4 Stroke Engines (mech and elec preferred)

The role would suit experienced commercial litigators, who can demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' post qualifying experience within a commercial litigation environment.
Responsibilities:
Working on behalf of P&I clubs, ship owners, charterers, sellers, buyers and off shore energy companies amongst others.
Handling a caseload of shipping matters to include freight, laytime and demurrage, charterparty and bill of lading issues, bunker clauses, shipbuilding, ship sale and purchase and marine personal injury.
Dealing with all aspects of litigation and arbitration.
Reviewing and drafting of various documents and contracts to include time and voyage charters, crew management agreements, licenses, service agreements, shipbuilding agreements and mooring licenses.
Providing expert legal advice.

Based in Havant, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of vessels within the Naval and Commercial markets.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, create, and support concept design, technical specifications, configuration, and support activities for the company's products and systems.
Oversee work breakdown structures for projects.
Set team schedules, deadlines, and objectives, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and third parties.
Lead and support calculations, analysis, drafting, and 3D modelling tasks.
Lead and validate design and testing for products and systems.
Provide technical input to purchasing processes.
Maintain compliance with data control requirements.
Develop and support team processes and improve personal knowledge of internal tools and systems.
Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven background in Marine Design Engineering, ideally in marine shaft line design and analysis.
Knowledge of shaft line equipment, mechanical, and structural design.
Familiarity with commercial and defense standards and regulations, including shaft line analysis (alignment, vibrations, fatigue analysis).
Knowledge of the marine/shipbuilding industry.
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in CAD (Solid Edge or similar) and MS Office tools.
Shaftline calculation software (ShaftDesigner, Nauticus Machinery) would be very beneficial.
Experience with MathCAD, Matlab, and hand/FE analysis.
Knowledge of shock calculations and defense standards (def-stans, mil-std).
Familiarity with Class rules (e.g., LR).
