Main Responsibilities
As an Advisory Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Provide intensive educational casework for a designated cohort of children and young people looked after to ensure they are provided with appropriate, services and interventions involving multi-disciplinary work.
To deliver the education vision for the Virtual School, reflecting local, regional and national priorities, legislation and good practice, with a strong emphasis on raising the educational standard of children and young people that have been looked after.
Provide support and direction to the Virtual School team around key priorities in area/age group of specialism.
Ensure high-quality Personal Education Plans are in place within agreed timescales for all children and young people looked after in the agreed area of responsibility, ensure that each child is receiving appropriate support with pupil premium being discharged purposefully in line with local authority policy.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role
Enhanced DBS
Must have qualified teaching status (QTS)

We are looking for a Senior Social worker to join a Children's Referral & Assessment Team
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work.
About the team
The team are responsible for making assessments and decisions as well as any needed statutory functions to ensure the correct outcomes for children and their families are achieved.
They work with children with a range of different needs such as CIN (Children in Need), CP (Child protection) you will also need to make judgements as to what the appropriate course of action would be to each case sent from our MASH Team.
About you
Knowledge and experience working within a Frontline Team such as Child Protection or Referral and Assessment is essential for this role.

We are currently looking for a CP Conference Chair to join a Quality Assurance Team.
This role requires a social work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the team:
The team's aim is to support those at conferences to use the available information provided by contributors and make recommendations that form the child protection outline plan; this includes ensuring the appointment of a Lead Social Worker if the child is to be subject of a child protection plan.
Currently, the team is mostly hybrid, you will only need to attend the office for an initial Child Protection Conference, there are no other expectations to work in the office.
About you:
To be considered for this role you need to have a Minimum of 3 years direct experience of chairing child protection conferences.
Previous management experience working within child safeguarding services is preferred but not essential.
Skills of multi-agency working, developing child focused CP plans, understanding of dispute resolution and escalation process and challenging professional agencies lends well to this role.
