Please note that this would be hybrid working (although predominantly home-based).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on adult social care, immigration, deprivation of liberty, mental health, and human rights.
Prepare and manage cases for the Court of Protection, represent the Council, and liaise with external professionals.
Advise on special educational needs and immigration issues.
Monitor new legislation and case law, advising on legal implications.
Requirements:
3+ years PQE (Solicitor or Legal Executive) within adult social care law
Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and related legal frameworks.
Experience in the Court of Protection and complex case handling.
Previous working experience within the public sector would be highly desirable.
