Experience and Skills required:
CIPD level 3 or diploma qualification or equivalent level of demonstrable experience in Volunteer Management and/ or People functions.

Demonstrable experience of working in a people orientated function and recruitment delivering high volume end to end recruitment campaigns and supporting managers to develop and implement plans.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of preemployment checks and UKBA requirements; sufficient to be a point of escalation for resolution of queries and concerns.
Understanding of key voluntary services management and information applicable to the role.

The role will involve assisting the Head of Department with complex contentious employment law matters (predominantly private or insurance backed claimant work) and managing an employment law case load (under supervision).

This youth workforce program is funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center with the goal of creating pathways to employment for Massachusetts vocational technical high school seniors into union and non-union roles in the green construction industry.
The Achieve Green program builds off of the "Rising Stars" career exposure program which students participate in during the spring of junior year and fall of senior year.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Reporting to the Director of the Rising Star Program, The Achieve Green Program Manager will be responsible for the support and growth of the clean energy/climate/green jobs "Achieve Green (AG)" workforce development program.
This includes oversight of the day-to-day program operation and management as well as strategy and program expansion.
The role requires an individual to support candidates from acceptance to final job placement within existing pathways and to assist in the design, execution and launch of an additional program pathway build outs.
