Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial rooftop heating and cooling equipment.
Communicate with management regarding status of work orders.
Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g.
Air conditioning systems, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
Installation of air-conditioning equipment, heating and ventilation systems.
Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in good working order.
Participate in meetings, workshops and training as required.
Requirements
Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning FETAC Level 6.
Background in service and installation of AC equipment preferable.
Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience.
Valid/clean drivers' licence.
Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of Split AC, VRV systems, Fan Coil Units and Air Handling Units.

Job Title: Regional EHS Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The primary result expected from the Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager - Distribution, is to ensure EHS compliance of facilities by reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing the work environment and designing programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Support the distribution network and their teams in continuous improvement of environmental health and safety systems and processes. Ensure systems are created and supported to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local environmental health and safety regulations. Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials, specific to Distribution.
Examples include ergonomics for order picking, safe operation of powered industrial vehicles, and emergency spill response.
Investigate accidents and perform root cause analysis to identify causes and to determine how such incidents might be prevented in the future.
Develop and implement EHS training schedules and content for multiple Distribution locations.
Investigate the adequacy of workplace conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance.
Develop and maintain hygiene programs such as noise surveys, atmosphere monitoring, ventilation surveys, etc.
Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
Collaborate with Engineering to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.
Responsibilities/Expectations: Communicate with site and corporate leadership, hourly associates, and peers, provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form and in person. Travel frequently to multiple Distribution locations in the U.S. Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. Understand and implement the corporate EHS Management System. Treat people with dignity and respect. Conduct all business with integrity. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Required Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. EHS-related certification(s) preferred. Knowledge of Federal and State regulations including air programs, hazardous waste management, hazardous material management, TSCA, stormwater, OSHA general industry, DOT requirements. 5+ years of environmental health and safety experience preferred.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to join a team at an industry leading science and research facility.
The location hosts multiple organizations focused on advancing health and welfare in key areas.
As a member of a small team of in-house engineers, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance across various buildings, including offices, laboratories, and research facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance at scheduled intervals on Steam Boiler Plants, Heating and Ventilation systems, Compressed Air systems, Water systems, and general Building Services.
Perform timely and safe repairs on the aforementioned systems to minimize downtime and ensure work continuity.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and time spent, creating a detailed history of plant and equipment maintenance.
Serve as the 'First Responder' when scientific equipment malfunctions, ensuring quick resolution.
Coordinate with equipment users to ensure work is properly scheduled and conducted safely.
Develop Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
Participate in an 'On Call' rotation with other engineers to provide 24/7 coverage across the facility.
Compensation includes an on-call fee plus overtime for callouts.
Stay informed about Health and Safety legislation to ensure all work is carried out safely.
Role Profile
Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance setting.
Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and the development of Method Statements (Safe Systems of Work).
Proficient in maintaining and repairing heating and ventilation systems.
Skilled in performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and managing emergency situations, unexpected issues, and necessary repairs.
Hold an SVQ or City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline.
