Job Title: Area Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Field Sales)
Department: Rust-Oleum US Sales
Reports To: Central Zone Manager Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.
We offer a wide range of products including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, our famous rust-fighting formula that started it all. As an Area Manager, the candidate will be responsible for driving sales and represent Rust-Oleum's vast portfolio of products to customers within the assigned geographic territory.
Territory to include Southwest, TX, and Houston.
Travel accounts for 40-50%.

Job Duties: Sales - this job is all about increasing market share by selling the Rust-Oleum Portfolio of products in their assigned geographic territory.
Increase distribution of all Rust-Oleum brands within the assigned dealer base by expanding market share and reducing competitive presence. Maintain regular contact with customers to identify business opportunities and increase market share. Identify customer needs to facilitate product and planogram recommendations. Achieve profitable quarterly sales objectives and goals. Execute category management strategies with dealer base to grow market share. Develop and follow a comprehensive time and territory management plan to maximize coverage and efficiently manage expenses. Provide merchandising, pricing, and promotional support to the dealer base. Work with internal and external customers to meet all commitments and deadlines. The ability to use all Microsoft Office products to analyze data, communicate with customers, and make profitable recommendations to internal and external customers. Able to climb a ladder and do physical activities as required by the position.
Requirements:
1 - 3 years of previous outside sales experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
Previous retail selling experience is strongly desired, and Co-Op experience is a plus. Prior experience in a sales service role with demonstrated success in customer retention. Requires the ability to effectively analyze a customer's business and successfully communicate how our products and services can help them increase their sales and profits Ability to analyze data and complete a Profit & Loss analysis as required. Outstanding oral and written communication skills Self-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and sales territory, with a proven ability to multitask. Ability to work and travel within assigned territory 40-50% of the time.
Periodic evening and weekend hours are required for trade shows and customer events. Proven history of exceptional follow-up skills. Proven history of working with diverse customer base. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format. Ability to analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans. Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and write reports to communicate the information. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Requirements:

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities and Manager to join their growing team on a permanent contract, based in Birmingham.
As the Facilities Manager you will be required to plan and coordinate specific site maintenance contracts and any remedial actions arising from the undertaking of the work, which will include the maintenance of the infrastructure of the site using SAP to request and justify any additional maintenance request.
Duties include:
- Responsible for statutory requirements for fire safety and loss prevention.
This will require involvement in fire pump performance testing, sprinkler weekly bell testing,
zoned fire alarm system service contract, extinguisher gas systems, and monthly risk
assessment area checks and to be the responsible person for fire safety advisory and
competence on site.
- In conjunction with the Engineering Manager and Purchasing be involved in negotiating
the technical content of the site service contracts.
- Using SAP - to coordinate service contract WO's and POs for the following and to carry out any remedial actions as necessary.
- Manage the backlog of work generated from Audits.
- Be available to provide support on planned shutdowns, supervising and carrying out key
tasks as necessary.
- If of an Electrical Discipline, to be able to support HV work, any necessary electrical shut works, Isolations, permits, and contractor control.
- To support Engineering Works identified by the utilities team
- Tank inspections and documentation of reports and any necessary rectification works.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Large industry manufacturing.
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification.
- Full knowledge of legislative and compliance essentials of carrying out a site facilities manager role.
- Previous experience in managing compliance and legislation.
- A fully time-served engineer with practical and management experience.
(In facilities management).
- Resilient Manager, with experience in dealing with conflicting priorities.
- Able to plan and coordinate multiple tasks.
