My client, an established Engineering & Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled (Electrically Biased) Maintenance Engineer to undertake Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a range of specialist equipment, including Furnaces, injection moulding presses and shotblasting equipment.
This is a days-based role working Monday to Friday (07:30am - 16.03pm Mon-Thu & 07.30am - 12.30pm Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, service and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical control panels, 3 phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room and furnace equipment
Assist manufacturing/production team in achieving targets and optimising machine run times
Prioritise maintenance requests and carry out planned, preventative maintenance effectively
Understand and support plant improvement projects
Liaise with contractors on site
Support the training and development of apprentices
Practice all safety and compliance requirements and encourage others to do so
Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias and excellent mechanical maintenance capabilities
Ideally you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415V electrical skills
Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding and repair skills
Welding / Fabrication skills would be desirable
PAT testing experience/qualification
Experience of working in an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing environment

The Role of the Account Manager
Selling a leading portfolio of wound care and compression therapy solutions into NHS, both primary and secondary care.
Key component is Business Development
Big focus on key decision makers at a senior level, i.e.
buyers, procurement teams, CCGs.
You will develop a business plan for the territory to gain formulary inclusion for specified to ensure business growth.
You will proactively seek out and develop relationships with clinical & non-clinical key decision makers, up to and including board level customers
You will identify new sales opportunities within community and hospital accounts.
You will be using an OMNI-channel approach; digital platforms, social media, face to face.
Region covers West Scotland, Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway, Forth Valley, Glasgow, Highland, Lanarkshire

Basic Salary -?£42k - £53k per annum
Holidays – 5 weeks pro rata, plus stats

The Ideal Person for the Account Manager
Ideally you will have wound care or similar medical sales experience, selling into primary care
Must have a willingness to learn and motivation to succeed
Good IT skills including; Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMs, Word, Outlook, content sharing platforms, customer data bases.
Can evidence an interest and passion for a career in sales
Has some clinical knowledge and background; such as a sports science or rehabilitation, physio qualification
