Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
- To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
- Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Be able to work in a team and as an individual
Minimum Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:
- Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level

Coordinate and assign tasks to employees based on their qualification matrix, ensuring timely completion of work plans provided by MRP to meet KPIs.
Maintain shift-related information on shop-floor management systems, reporting results, and implementing improvements.
Credentials Required:
Previous experience in first-line supervisory management, with the ability to motivate and support team members effectively.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover different production zones.

The Role:
Aa a MET Technician, your role involves carefully dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles to meet exceptional repair standards.
Training will be provided to the relevant candidates, if required.
Responsibilities:
* Precisely strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
* Work across a diverse spectrum of vehicles, including cars, vans, HGVs, and luxury models.
* Identify and report any additional damage or necessary supplementary work.
* Maintain close communication with the Parts Department.
* Document the repair process through photographs and reports.
