The Role:
As a Residential Support Worker with prior experience in childrens residential care, you will provide high-quality assessments and support for young people (ages 12-17) facing learning difficulties and exhibiting emotional or challenging behaviors.
Duties:
* Assist senior managers in implementing organisational processes in the young person's Home.
* Provide practical and emotional support, acting as a positive role model.
* Work closely with young individuals to address difficulties and enhance their potential.
* Create a caring, supportive, and secure environment, prioritising their well-being.
* Serve as a key worker, ensuring up-to-date care plans and meeting all care needs.
* Follow and adapt care plans according to each young persons changing needs.
* Empower and involve young individuals in decision-making about their lives.
* Facilitate community engagement, off-site activities, and the expansion of social networks.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or in a similar role.
* Possession of Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Childrens Social Care pathway) or equivalent, or commitment to obtain within 2 years.
* Familiarity with Ofsted standards and requirements.
* Desirable ability to speak a second or third language.
* Knowledge of implementing care and support plans for young people.
* Enhanced DBS check is required.
* Must have a full clean UK driving licence

In this role you will Prepare and lodge AP1, FR1 and priority search applications at the Land Registry within priority periods, Deal with any requisitions within internal SLA timeframe, Update and respond promptly to any queries raised by mortgage lenders and clients on progress of registrations, Chase third parties for post completion documents and deal with any further enquiries raised with assistance of fee-earner where necessary, Send completed registrations, and any necessary deeds/indemnity policies to clients and/or mortgage lenders, Update the team on changes to the Registration process, ensure that the Land Registry portal terms and conditions are met when lodging applications and highlight to the Post completion Manager/Team Leader any case where there is a risk of removal from the lender panel or a negligence claim.

They will participate in regular supervision (individual and group supervision) and ensure confidentiality of information in line with County Council policy and relevant legislation, in respect of records maintained and tasks undertaken.
This includes maintaining strict confidentiality in relation to personal information (including that of service users and other employees) which may become known in the course of work or associated activities.
To maintain effective working relationships and contribute to a working environment which is safe, considerate and supportive to all.
