JOB DESCRIPTION
I&C engineer and supported by I&C technician team.
Responsible for the design and review of all I&C equipment and instruments for the Plant. Explore solutions to production problems or improve efficiency with maintenance and operators.
Run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes, and become familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures.
Work and coordinate activities with the other engineering disciplines, Process, Project and Environmental. Prepare, review and/or approve of instrument specification data sheets and submit purchase requisitions for approval.
Prepare equipment lists, instrument index, I/O lists.
Review process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs). Meet with plant technical staff to discuss technical information and features. Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Process Hazard analysis (PHA) to consider equipment, personnel, and environmental safety.
Knowledge of capital approval process and project justification required. Be involved in the design and development of equipment and work procedures.
Be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating process hazard analysis.
Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
Takes responsibility for I&C Engineering Change Management system.
Coordinate and approve all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes through the Product Development Program.
Assists in identifying the root causes of a problem and instituting corrective action such as changes to batch sheets, generation of Engineering Change Requests, changes in workstations, changes to inspection analyses and changes to process procedures.
Provide recommendations to improve procedures that apply to quality and operations functions.
Be responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production.
Review quality trends based on quality data system information and interaction with production personnel and participate in the generation and implementation of defect-reduction programs.
Investigate quality improvement opportunities and complaints with Director, Plant Manager and Research and Development.
Prepare for and represent the company during all ISO and related audits.
Review all design drawings and changes, process procedures, test procedures, procurement documents, and inspection analyses to ensure that the divisions and customers quality requirements are met on assigned products, programs, areas, and functions. Provide support to maintenance and operation group including visual aids and inspection analyses.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
B.S.
degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Preferred, 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems.
Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations.
Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware.
Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment. Familiar with industrial sensors and actuators; pressure, temperature, accelerometers, motor controllers, flow meters, relays, strain gauges, valves, and pumps.
Strong technical and non-technical writing and verbal skills Able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and/or scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Rags are watered down nightly in Plant #1. Load trash truck and sort skids. Clean all Lunch and Locker rooms in the manufacturing area. Keep up to Date inventory of cleaning supplies.
Order as needed. Run vacuum hoses in Plant #2 in designated areas. Do whatever cleaning inside or outside that is required. Maintain a clean work area. Safely operate all equipment associated with a given process.
Use prescribed safety equipment, when performing duties. Communicate any variations/problems to appropriate Management Personnel.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Have the ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand simple math.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must pass lift truck operator's test.

Relief Scheme Manager Extra Care Service Kent Permanent 18 Hours P/W £15,479 One of Kent's most prominent housing associations is recruiting for a Relief Scheme Manager to provide housing management cover within their Extra Care services across Kent.The Services This Extra Care Relief Scheme Manager vacancy covers five Extra Care housing schemes for the over 55s across Kent, in the following locations; Dover, Ramsgate, Dartford, Tenterden and Hawkhurst.The Role The focus of this Extra Care Relief Scheme Manager role is to step in during periods of absence or annual leave to provide cover for colleagues at five extra care schemes across Kent and provide a housing management service (no care) You will support tenants to maintain their tenancies by assisting with anti-social behaviour issues, queries about repairs or renting, and helping new tenants settle in and ensure the health & safety compliance within the schemes, including building security, fire checks and inspections of communal areas, so that residents are secure and safe. This will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
Effectively manage all aspects of housing related services to provide a high quality housing management service to tenants.
Monitor and action low level rent arrears cases
Build positive working relationships with the care providers, cleaning, catering and facilities management contractors
Develop and maintain a varied activities programme which links in with the local community and encourage tenants to support their own activities.
Implement any required health and Safety and fire checks for the scheme.
Deliver an excellent level of service to customers ensuring that their needs are met.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with
The Candidate To be considered for this Extra Care Relief Scheme Manager role, you will be self-motivated, with an energetic approach to engaging with tenants on an individual and group basis, to meet their aspirations around socialisation, healthy living, and well-being. You need to be a great communicator, and able to form relationships with a wide range of people. You will be able to work well under pressure and use your own initiative. You will also have excellent time management skills, in this fast-paced varied role effectively prioritising and managing your time, including being able to regularly travel between sites, which will be a daily expectation. The role covers a large geographical area, so access to a vehicle for work purposes is a necessity, and as the role is working with vulnerable individuals, you will also require an Enhanced DBS check.The Contract This is a part time Extra Care Relief Scheme Manager role, working 18 hours per week.
This will mostly be between 9:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday, but there will also be some cover required on Saturday Mornings.
The rota will be planned a week in advance, so full flexibility is required.
There is also potential for some overtime.
