The DSP Engineer - Wireless Systems, Berkshire, will be responsible for design and development of physical layer algorithms for 5G wireless systems
Other responsibilities include:
Development of physical layer features for wireless systems at both algorithm and DSP level on target hardware.
Preparation of specifications detailing physical layer implementation and verification on a range of platforms.

This new Devon based opportunity will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electromechanical components.
Responsibilities for this Senior Test Technician - Electronics role:
Testing and measurement of components, including lasers, photodiodes, modulators and optical amplifiers,
Utilise precision instruments to measure optical parameters such as wavelength, power and bandwidth.
Analyse test data to identify trends, inconsistencies and potential issues.
Compile comprehensive test reports and present findings to engineering and production teams.
Provide recommendations for process improvements based on test results.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to optical component performance, including alignment issues, signal degradation, and connector problems.
Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and optimize product designs.
Key skills required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in using optical testing equipment such as OTDRs, optical spectrum analysers, and power meters.
Experience with automated testing systems
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.

The role as the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne will be leading the NPI Development team and will be responsible for liaising with the relevant design staff to ensure the overall quality and delivery of new parts, to the highest standards.
You will also work to ensure the proposed design concepts can be manufactured cost-effectively.
You will oversee the prototype build of products in question, prepare relevant documentation and actively participate in PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and DFMEs (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis).
This role will also require you to work with Operations personnel to allow for the optimisation and layout of the assembly areas, as well as the assembly tooling used in the NPI build.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer must have experience with PCBA and leading a manufacturing or production team.
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne, you will have experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) role within electronics assembly, and/or PCB/cable assembly or electronics box build as well as experienced in the use of ERP/MRP systems (SAP Preferable).
You will also have an Engineering Degree or equivalent and provable experience in a similar position.
Awareness of all types of electronic printed circuit assembly techniques is beneficial.
