Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Engineer with prior experience of working in an production / manufacturing environment and familiar with gearboxes, service pumps, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial machinery is required for permanent position in the Knutsford area.

The Role:
As a time served Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Engineer you will be required to be hands-on and practical in a workshop-based role and will develop the knowledge of the factory to become the go-to person for advice with breakdowns and maintenance and will occasionally assist with tool change overs.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Mechanical Maintenance Fitter role will be apprentice trained or time served and have a proven track record in maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
You'll also need experience of:
Mechanical maintenance / fitting experience

Establish commercial relationships with the internal suppliers.
Define and maintain the stock of materials according to the production needs.
Define in collaboration with the technical area standard solutions to be able to reduce lead times and to promote our portfolio of products in the market.
Prepare P&C quotations for the commercial area in collaboration with the technical area/ Solutions area.
To place the orders to our BU's, (switchgears, transformers, etc.), and to our internal suppliers, (P&C components, VT's & CT's, etc.)
