We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices. Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks. Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs. Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees
Job Requirements:
Commercial Roofing: All levels; at least 1 year preferred This is a full-time traveling position; reliable transportation is a requirement. Must be vaccinated for COVID 19.

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
Must be capable of operating basic cleaning equipment, including but not limited to, tub washer Plant #1, incinerator Plant #2, vacuum cleaners and hoses, floor buffers and scrapers and all other cleaning equipment.
Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping rules.
Must adhere to any Quality Process implemented by the Company.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Must have the ability to complete training programs of department, leading to Chemical Operator position. Ability to work without supervision. Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions. Must be accurate in reporting information to Foreman. Must work in a safe, neat and accurate manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
Run trash compactor in Plant #2 alley.
Keep alley clean. Clean tubs in Plant #1, by hand or by tub washer equipment as required. Pick up rags on a daily basis and store them in proper container.
Rags are watered down nightly in Plant #1. Load trash truck and sort skids. Clean all Lunch and Locker rooms in the manufacturing area. Keep up to Date inventory of cleaning supplies.
Order as needed. Run vacuum hoses in Plant #2 in designated areas. Do whatever cleaning inside or outside that is required. Maintain a clean work area. Safely operate all equipment associated with a given process.
Use prescribed safety equipment, when performing duties. Communicate any variations/problems to appropriate Management Personnel.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Have the ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand simple math.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must pass lift truck operator's test.

Engineering or Chemistry degree is preferred but not mandatory with good significant manufacturing experience, use of lean principles in daily work. Six Sigma Black Beltpreferred. Requirements

Knowledge and demonstrated application of industry standard Quality Management and Quality Engineering practices. Demonstrated application of Statistical Process Control and Process Capability Analysis.
Strong understanding and experience in application of analytical tools such as Gauge R&R Studies, Measurement Capability Studies, and Multivariate Testing/ Design of Experiment.
Experience with material testing and generally accepted laboratory practices.
Very strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization including manufacturing plants, technical and management personnel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
ASQ Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
