A growing Biotech company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer who help with the company's successful Verification & Validation activities, from a mechanical engineering viewpoint.
After around six months, the Verification & Validation duties will reduce, allowing you to focus your work into Mechanical Engineering duties.
We are looking for someone who has Verification &; Validation experience of Biotech, Medical Devices, IVD or another sector that requires the devices to abide by ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
If your experience has come from more of a Quality Engineering viewpoint (rather than Mechanical Engineering) we would still like to hear from you as your role could still develop into Quality Assurance roles after the Verification & Validations duties are completed.

The Role of the Weighbridge Operator:
As the Weighbridge Operator you’ll be joining a team of 15 Operatives at the companies Manchester Asphalt Plant.
A busy plant, the Manchester site has 3 fitters and a rail discharge which see’s in 7 deliveries a week.
The role of Weighbridge Operator will see you carry out the operation of the Weighbridge.
You’ll work closely with your fellow colleagues to ensure your Weighbridge duties are carried out whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety.
This role is working on a shift basis of: Early one week and late the next.
The Early shift is: 5:30am- 1:30pm, Late is: 8am- 4:45pm Monday to Friday.
Working a Saturday 6am-2pm or a Sunday 7am-12pm.
Weekends will be rotational, and you’ll know in advance what shift you’re working.
As the Weighbridge Operator you may be required to work nights on customer request.
