JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
The Sr.
Quality Assurance Associate has accountability of internal and external quality standards as required for GMP and ISO to support Kirker's Quality Program.
This position will work with all related internal functions (Regulatory, Production, QC, R&D, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to ensure Kirker's Quality Assurance compliance via documentation, data, procedures, and QA support.
Defined Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Maintain internal quality program to ensure ongoing compliance while refining the existing and implementing new quality standards to support the continuous improvement of the company's procedures, standards, and specifications. Working closely with the QC Department (both in the U.S.
and our European facility) to ensure the testing methods, procedures, and record keeping support the best quality and consistency across the company globally. Conducts quality audits, inspections, and implements corrective actions. Performance Monitoring and Reporting including ownership and oversight of all customer-centric quality issues including complaints (investigation and resolution), product recalls and customer audits. Ensure compliance with all training, procedures, calibration, record keeping, and documentation requirements supporting Kirker's Quality Program. Lead and conduct objective root cause analysis for internal and external quality issues as well as customer concerns. Actively promotes and drives a culture that creates a safe working environment for all employees. Prepares reports and gives technical presentations as required. Provides support to Quality Control as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Learn and understand our MS168 process. Interact with plant staff and senior leaders as part of the daily, weekly, monthly tier meeting cadence. Participate in EHS-related projects as assigned. Assis in ensuring full-compliance with all site-specific EHS requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety program or related field at an accredited college or university.

The Distribution Clerk is responsiblefor ensuring that all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager. Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in). Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed. Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax. Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials. Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents. Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers. Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required. Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages. Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them. In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures. Gather, enter into warehouse management system and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities. Complete necessary management reports as required. Responsible reporting Cycle Counts to Distribution Services Manager as required by identified Cycle Count Program. Act as back up to other functions as necessary. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will drive and execute continuous improvement efforts at the manufacturing plant level across multiple facilities in the organization by collaborating with plant personnel to promote, improve and maintain our operational excellence systems (ex: MS168) in alignment with corporate strategy and site-specific goals.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will be required to leverage available data, Six Sigma projects, and other lean tools to deliver effective initiatives across the organization to positively impact the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the manufacturing sites as well as corporate functions/departments to determine where the most significant areas of improvement exist and develop projects from those opportunities. Develop, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and plant objectives. Assess, monitor, maintain, and enhance business performance by analyzing current practices, developing business process improvements (ex.: removing waste, reducing cost, etc.), implementing changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance. Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools, provide support for plant level initiatives, and participate in Kaizen events on the production floor in support of Tremco's MS168 philosophies. Provide support to the production staff to ensure that implemented lean principles are understood and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of process improvements. Lead cross functional work teams focused on identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to provide sustainable improvements that meet/exceed expectations. Conduct semi-annual audits. Read, research, interpret, and analyze data on current processes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Leverage knowledge of tiered governance systems, Kaizen, 5S, visual management and SMED to assist sites in improving efficiencies by evaluating process and practice from various perspectives. Influence and motivate others to attend to, participate in and own local continuous improvement efforts and initiatives. Lead cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives.
