GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring safety, maintaining product quality, and enhancing process efficiency in a chemical production environment.
Additionally, this role emphasizes promoting a LEAN culture and requires active involvement in on-floor operations as well as spearheading significant projects related to process equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate actively as a member of the facility's Quality Improvement Council (QIC), focusing on root cause analysis.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Technical Representative ensures proper application of Tremco CPG products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application and problem resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide independent support for primary territory product lines.
Recommend products and solutions outside of primary product lines with occasional direction.
Provide site support by performing general and complex product applications.
Perform substrate analysis using specialty equipment.
Keep up-to-date technically on practical procedures, specialized techniques to apply new knowledge within the field.
Provide field support by collecting data for project or product specific testing and interpreting results.
Recommend application policies within technical literature.
Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals Provide live and/or web-based training for internal staff and/or external customers.
Create instructional hands-on demonstrations in a classroom, distributor locations, or job site settings showing application of products.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Construction, or similar preferred.

Position Summary
Carboline is looking to fill an open Territory Sales Representative within their Central Region seeking candidates located near Chicago, IL or Wisconsin to focus heavily on Carboline's Flooring Market.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The BIM Specialist is responsible for transforming conceptual layouts to fully installable models that fully integrate into wall system/panel projects and designs by creating structures, objects, and families.
By leveraging a variety of three-dimensional computer assisted design modeling software, the BIM Specialist will support senior modelers and project teams and promote the best tools and system framework for each project with required configurations and deployments.

Identify and resolve clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within BIM models to ensure smooth coordination between various disciplines. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will drive and execute continuous improvement efforts at the manufacturing plant level across multiple facilities in the organization by collaborating with plant personnel to promote, improve and maintain our operational excellence systems (ex: MS168) in alignment with corporate strategy and site-specific goals.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will be required to leverage available data, Six Sigma projects, and other lean tools to deliver effective initiatives across the organization to positively impact the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the manufacturing sites as well as corporate functions/departments to determine where the most significant areas of improvement exist and develop projects from those opportunities. Develop, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and plant objectives. Assess, monitor, maintain, and enhance business performance by analyzing current practices, developing business process improvements (ex.: removing waste, reducing cost, etc.), implementing changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance. Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools, provide support for plant level initiatives, and participate in Kaizen events on the production floor in support of Tremco's MS168 philosophies. Lead cross functional work teams focused on identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to provide sustainable improvements that meet/exceed expectations. Conduct semi-annual audits. Read, research, interpret, and analyze data on current processes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Leverage knowledge of tiered governance systems, Kaizen, 5S, visual management and SMED to assist sites in improving efficiencies by evaluating process and practice from various perspectives. Influence and motivate others to attend to, participate in and own local continuous improvement efforts and initiatives. Lead cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives.
Develop, monitor, and communicate project plans, timelines, and budgets with key stakeholders.
Provide supportive project management expertise including MPST and monthly savings tracking, key performance indicators, and reporting. Teach, lead, and coach cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Use data analytics such as statistical process control, process capability analysis, and correlation to make data driven decisions while demonstrating quantitative improvement/impact. The Technical Communications Specialist provides administrative assistance to the Technical Services Department and technical support of the Sealants Division product line to Tremco sales representatives and customers.
This position requires a fundamental understanding of the product complaint process, the ability to enter product complaints and carrying out other associated duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General understanding of product complaint process/WebCycle/SAP and ability to close out tasks in a timely manner. Work successfully with all internal and external customers (Manufacturing, Lab, Sales, Tech Services as well as Dryvit Distributors).
Assist in providing technical support for Dryvit product line, making technically accurate recommendations to internal and external product line/application inquiries from Sales Department, architects, engineers, contractors, specifiers, etc. Answer Dryvit Mailbox /HubSpot inquiries. Acquire a general understanding and ability to communicate results of Project Testing methods/techniques - ASTM C794 (Tab Adhesion-and-Peel), ASTM C1193 (Tab Adhesion), ASTM C1248 (Stain) and ASTM C1087 (Compatibility). Assist with making technically accurate recommendations to internal and external product line/application inquiries from Sales Department, architects, engineers, contractors, specifiers, etc. Develop the various cross-functional skill sets of individuals on your team within the Technical Services Department. Maintain and update Dryvit departmental manual.
Speak/write proficiently with respect to product usage, competitive product analysis, the Tremco website, product specification, product repairs and problems. Assist when needed with on- and off-site training events (Quality Applicator Program QAP, Sales Training, etc.) and arranging product deliveries. Assist with the development & updating of Technical Bulletins, Application Instructions, Tech Data, Marketing collateral or white papers.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Construction or similar field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of Technical Service, Construction, Customer Service or similar experience, preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be included in daily project status reports.
These items will include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases, which are all recorded daily.

baseline measurements o Collect data to compile mean time between failure (MTBF) intervals where applicable
Requirements
Major: Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.• Completed sophomore year at a minimum.
• Required knowledge of Microsoft Project, MS Office.
AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Statistical Analysis experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact successfully with others.
• Willingness to work with multiple engineering and engineering-related disciplines.
• Must have solid time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and most importantly, a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities:
The summer intern would work under mentorship of a senior scientist / Supervisor to perform collaborative research for development adhesives or repair products with unique and differentiated properties.
This R&D work will include: • Formulating raw materials into a functional product.• Analytical testing to understand raw materials, as well as formulated product properties.• Benchmarking and applications testing of formulated products for end-use performance prediction.
Requirements
Major: Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. General lab skills (weighing materials on benchtop scale, transferring liquids/solids from one container to another, adherence to lab safety rules). Some organic chemistry knowledge and understanding of solvents. Adept with hands-on work, home repair experience is a plus! Attention to details, inquisitive, good notes taker, desire to learn and grow.
