Working with internal audit, second line defence and vendors to ensure controls are sufficient and action plan deadlines are implemented successfully.

Building strong working relationships with clients;

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
Currently reading for ACCA or equivalent;
Working experience within an accounting team would be considered an asset;

An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset;
Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines;

Have a working knowledge of approach to sustainability to enable effective responses to related questionnaires.
Gather data, collate supporting material, edit text, all within required deadlines.
Communicate effectively with all areas of the firm.
Review data to ensure accuracy.
Assist with the maintenance of master text and in the appropriate and efficient distribution of that text, quarterly.
Ensure that procedures are followed and met in regard to approvals and audit requirements.
Undertake project work as required.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for supporting in the smooth running of the accounts function, delivering timely and accurate management accounts.
This role will perform in-depth financial analysis and reporting to provide strategic insights on areas such as budgeting, forecasting, risk management and efficiencies.
The role will require an individual who is strategic, articulate, methodical and analytical.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing controls to maximize returns and cash flow and utilize your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the dealerships
