The Production Manager will be responsible for reporting back to the Operations Manager if production falls behind and a prospective delivery date is going to be compromised and agree a solution and a revised completion date with the OM, engineers, and commercials for the specific project.
Responsible for arranging the electrical installs on the required date with the electrical subcontractor including ordering the electrical parts required by the electrical subcontractor to be fitted into the kiosk the achieve the customer specification.
Establish commercial relationships with the internal suppliers.
Define and maintain the stock of materials according to the production needs.
Define in collaboration with the technical area standard solutions to be able to reduce lead times and to promote our portfolio of products in the market.
Prepare P&C quotations for the commercial area in collaboration with the technical area/ Solutions area.
To place the orders to our BU's, (switchgears, transformers, etc.), and to our internal suppliers, (P&C components, VT's & CT's, etc.)

This Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job will involve working for a well renowned growing global leading organisation and is based in Dorset, and commutable from Weymouth, Dorchester, Grimstone, Evershot, Beamister, Bridport, Abbotsbury, Wareham, West Lulworth and more.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Dorset will be responsible for: -
Design of mechanical and electro-mechanical enclosures for the company's special purpose machinery.
Creating innovative 3D designs for plastic injection mouldings, as well as small fabrications and mechanisms that meet the specification, time and cost targets.
Producing data, drawings and BOM to support production and manufacturing.
Providing technical support for the special purpose machinery, this could include troubleshooting and efficiency improvements.
The successful candidate for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job will ideally have experience of:
Producing proficient in 3D modelling
Designing plastic injection mouldings
Designing mechanisms and motors
