About the role:
As a support worker you will be working in our school's residential home supporting young people from ages 5-19 with severe emotional and social difficulties.
Being a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the life skills and independence of the young people.
This will be on a bank/agency basis.
About you:
A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, mental health, or autism.
You must have a driving license and your own vehicle as it is a rural location.
Pay starting from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £14.57 per hour Umbrella.

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Hospital Discharge Team.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION WITH A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS POST QUALIFIED EXPERIENCE.
About the team
This is a fast paced team who work to ensure patients discharges from hospital are safe and that they have as much support leaving the hospital as they need.
Use of D2A procedures, completing mental capacity act assessment and dealing with safeguarding procedures are all day to day responsibilities in this role.
Advocating for service users and their independence whilst using the conversations model to connect people to their social network is key to the success of each service users discharge.
About you
Experience in a hospital or community based team is experience that lends well to this team.
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years experience working in an Adult's Social Work setting are essential for this position. It is a requirement that the successful candidate has a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
